GRID ESCAPES began with a lifelong belief that travel is one of the most meaningful ways to experience the world. Having raised her family in Dubai for more than a decade, our founder lived at the meeting point of cultures and countries. Travel became part of family life: three to four journeys a year, spanning every continent.

Behind every seamless trip was careful planning: complex visa requirements, flights, hotels and detailed itineraries. She managed every detail personally, so her family could simply enjoy the journey. As a mother of two, she believes travel is one of the most valuable ways to teach children about different people, cultures and ways of life.

GRID ESCAPES grew naturally from that experience. Today, the same care goes into every client's journey, from the first idea to the journey home.

Which destinations do you plan?

Worldwide, with particular depth in safaris, Indian Ocean islands, wellness and active travel.

Do you charge a planning fee?

Some journeys carry a planning fee. If so, we agree it in writing, including what it covers and when it's payable, before any work begins.

What if I need to change or cancel?

Changes, cancellations and refunds follow each supplier's booking terms. We explain these clearly before you confirm.

What support do I get while travelling?

We agree the level of support and how to reach us before you leave.

Can you arrange halal-friendly travel?

Yes. Halal dining, prayer-friendly schedules and alcohol-free stays on request.

How do you use technology in planning?

Digital tools help us research faster and compare more options. Every itinerary is reviewed and finalised personally by Zafira.
